T﻿he organizationThe STEM Embassy is a place of knowledge and resources which aims to assist our youth on the islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao in their self-discovery and development in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on the islands. We organize events, spread STEM knowledge, and help create connections between professionals and students in STEM from the ABC Islands.

<h1></h1><h1>R﻿eady for Ki&#x27; ta bo STEM? Aruba &#x27;23?</h1>The STEM Embassy’s annual event Ki&#x27; ta bo STEM? will take place on Aruba on 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th of July 2023! We ask Afl. 30,- to attend the event. Below you will find a description of the event and payment instructions.<h2>About the event</h2>Ki’ ta bo STEM? is our annual event for participants from 12 -21 years old. The event aims to introduce each of the STEM fields through interactive workshops, and spark curiosity as to what a future in STEM could hold for their own career paths, as well as the further development of the islands. We’ll close the event off with a fair called the STEM Festival scheduled for the 29th of July. This festival will be a perfect opportunity for participants to gather with their families and proudly display the creations they have made during the workshops. Moreover, esteemed STEM companies and organizations will join us, adding to the vibrant atmosphere by showcasing their local STEM activities.The STEM Festival will feature an engaging stage program that includes panel speakers sharing their expertise and insights. Additionally, we will have award presentations honoring the exceptional creations of the participants, adding an element of recognition and celebration to the event.To participate, participants must be at least 12 years old or currently enrolled in a high school (voortgezet onderwijs) at a minimum.<h2>T﻿he program</h2><h3>Date &amp; Time</h3>Wednesday, 26 JulyCheck-in and event openingTime TBAThursday 27 &amp; Friday 28 JulyAttendees will be divided into two groups. Register via Eventbrite</h3>The options to pay in AFL via your local bank or to pay by cash in-person are available. Please proceed to checkout, fill out the form, and select the payment method &quot;Pay by invoice&quot;.<h3>2. Pay online or in-person</h3>After registering through Eventbrite, you will receive a confirmation of your order. Following that, we kindly request that you make the payment of Afl. 30,- within 7 days of receiving the order confirmation email. To complete the payment, please follow one of the payment methods provided below.Method A. Provide preferably a fixed amount of Afl. 30,- in cash. Please also provide your Eventbrite order number as reference. 
Please note that we will only accept payment with your Eventbrite order number. <h3>3. Payment confirmation</h3>O﻿nce your payment is completed and confirmed, you will receive a payment confirmation email within 5 working days.
N﻿ote: Payment must be completed within 7 days of receiving the Eventbrite confirmation email of your order. Your participation is only guaranteed after payment is confirmed. If you have not paid within this time, your registration will expire and you will need to register again. In this case, please re-register on Eventbrite.
Payments are non-refundable once received.
<h2>Scholarship</h2>One of The STEM Embassy’s core values is to be open to all. If the participation fee constrains you from participating in this event, then we don’t want that to be the reason you miss out! Scholarship participants will be announced via email on or before July 24th.
