Nieuwe Instituut is het nationale museum voor architectuur, design en digitale cultuur. Nieuwe Instituut houdt zich bezig met de grote ontwikkelingen in de maatschappij, zoals de krapte op de woningmarkt, de energietransitie, de opkomst van kunstmatige intelligentie, mobiliteit of het gebruik van de publieke ruimte. Ontwerpers, waaronder architecten en digitale makers, kunnen aan die ontwikkelingen een belangrijke bijdrage leveren. Join the Nieuwe Instituut and Milanese cultural agency cheFare for the kick-off event of <a href="https://nieuweinstituut.nl/en/articles/civicity-milan-design-week" title="https://nieuweinstituut.nl/en/articles/civicity-milan-design-week" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CIVICITY</a>, the first edition of Redesigning Design Weeks: a multi-year residency programme that invites designers to explore design events’ impact — social, environmental and cultural — on the cities where they take place.Moderated by Milan-based design researcher and curator Angela Rui, the discussion will also feature CIVICITY curators Peter Zuiderwijk and Karin Mientjes (Collective Works), journalist Nuria Ribas Costa, Bertram Niessen (cheFare), Aric Chen (Nieuwe Instituut), the designers-in-residence Pete Fung and Studio-Method, and other international guests and experts.
