Would you like to know more about crowdfunding for visual art projects? Even if you don't have a specific project in mind yet? Stroom Den Haag and voordekunst would like to invite you to the Crowdfunding Kickoff on October 23, 2024, from 2.30 to 5.00 pm. In this session, the experts of voordekunst will take you step-by-step through a crowdfunding process.We will start with a presentation on crowdfundng for visual artists and the arts organizations. This presentation will be followed by two parallel workshops; a session for individual artists and a session for art institutions, associations, initiatives and collectives. There is limited space so don't forget to register.This kickoff is important for beginning crowdfunders, but also experienced artists can gain new insights from inspiring examples.You can register for one of the two workshops. Agenda

During this presentation on crowdfunding, we will use a crowdfunding canvas to think about the reason for your campaign, your target amount, the target group and promotion. Of course we'll dive into costs, give you lots of tips, show inspiring best practices and discuss how our matchfunding partners (including the Mondriaan Fund, Gemeente Den Haag and Cultuurfonds Zuid-Holland!) can contribute to your crowdfunding campaign.

In this session for individual artists we will focus on the target audience of your crowdfunding campaign. We will do this using several examples. The workshops include various assignments. Topics that we cover: defining the target group (who), triggers in your correspondence (why), the main message of your campaign, quid pro quos, promotion (how) and campaign planning (when).
