Landscapes/Soundscapes: A Two-Way Exploration of Urbanism and Music
By Jacopo Grilli & Amit Gur
June 19 | 19:00–21:00 | Culture Club

Urbanism and music—two seemingly distinct worlds—intersect in unexpected, resonant ways. From the rhythm of a city street to the harmony of a musical composition, both disciplines share a vocabulary of form, line, texture, and atmosphere. Landscapes/Soundscapes invites you into this shared language.

This audiovisual exhibition is the result of a collaboration between artist-urbanist Jacopo Grilli (Academie van Bouwkunst Amsterdam) and composer-researcher Amit Gur (Conservatorium van Amsterdam). Together, they explore how the built environment and musical composition reflect, inform, and echo one another.

Join us for an evening where cityscapes transform into soundscapes, and the boundaries between architecture and music dissolve into a new sensory experience.
