Adrian de Groot Ruiz, CEO & Co-Founder Impact Institute
Adrian is the CEO and Co-founder of Impact Institute, True Price and True Price Foundation. He holds a cum laude PhD in Economics from the UvA, was part of the Supervisory Board of Utrecht University, recognised as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum and called one of the top-20 most influential people in sustainability by the Dutch newspaper Trouw.
Rogier Schutte, Head of Product Impatec
Rogier Schutte is a software expert with over 10 years of experience. Before he joined Impact Institute he was a founder of several startups where he worked within a wide range of industries, from fintech to health tech. Rogier is a skilled product manager with a focus on user research and usability. He helped set up Impatec, the impact and sustainability software arm by Impact Institute.

Our vision on AI in impact measurement
Our CEO Adrian de Groot Ruiz will give a brief introduction on Impact Institute, Impatec and our vision on why we set up Impact Intelligence, and how we build with AI. - Our vision and principles for using AI in a, high-stakes field like impact investing and ESG - Our no 'black box AI' promise: why we treat AI as extended intelligence rather than an automated black box: in our view every output should be explainable by a person, not just generated by a model - How we safeguard data security and critical thinking in the design of the tool (EU-hosted, zero data retention with LLM providers)

Our technology expert Rogier will explain more about our tooling. - How the tool is structured, and the years of methodological knowledge from Impact Institute that underpin it - Examples of how we use the tool ourselves in our own client work - it's built on real practice, not just theory - Continuous improvement: how feedback from daily use feeds back into the models and workflows
How to use Impact Intelligence in practice
Rogier will continue to speak how the tool can be used, and already is used by some of our clients - How the tool fits into an investment lifecycle and existing reporting flow, rather than sitting next to it - Support across the full investment lifecycle: from initial screening and due diligence, through investment monitoring, to exit - Consistency across annual (YoY) impact assessments, as the underlying models, calculations and methods stay the same year after year, results become far more robust and comparable over time
