• Conversation (A2+) – Practice speaking and listening in Farsi, expand your vocabulary, and improve fluency in real-life situations.

Learning Farsi at Taalhuis Amsterdam

Our small-group Farsi lessons are designed to help you gain confidence quickly in both spoken and written Persian.

You’ll start with common conversation topics and gradually move on to reading and writing using the textbook Persian in Use, which introduces the Persian alphabet, everyday expressions, and more formal structures.

In class, both teachers and students speak Farsi as much as possible.

Our native-speaking teachers guide you step by step, helping you build the skills and confidence to use the language creatively and naturally.

While we follow a structured textbook, each course also includes cultural elements – such as Persian traditions, history, and poetry – because language and culture go hand in hand.

Farsi Courses Throughout the Year

Most of our courses (1 lesson per week) begin in September, January, and April.

Short conversation or intensive courses also run at select times throughout the year.
