Learners Stakeholder Event

Bringing together learners and experts from European universities to discuss the concept and modularity of microcredentials and short learning programmes. This includes also international collaborative design.

Goal:

  • Discuss the opportunities offered by microcredentials and short learning programmes for continuing education and professional development
  • Explore ways of modularity
  • Discuss student perspectives on continuing education and professional development
  • Learn from European wide practices

Context:

  • European policies with regard to microcredentials and short learning programmes for continuing education and professional development
  • Developments regarding modular curriculum development for continuing education
  • Current discussions related to the transformation of European universities

Profile of participants:

  • Student representatives from the partner universities
  • Student unions
  • Experts on microcredentials and short learning programmes

During this stakeholder meeting there will be three engaging sessions:

  1. Opportunities offered by microcredentials and short learning programmes: new ways for continuing education and professional development (OUNL)
  2. How to conceive modularity? (EADTU)
  3. Enriched programmes by international collaboration and mobility (KU Leuven)
