Whether you're an international who's recently moved here or a local who's lived in Arnhem for years, this afternoon is designed to help you make genuine connections while exploring the city together.

Come on your own, most people do. Within minutes you'll be talking to friendly people in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

What to expect

☕ Meet & Connect at Boekencafé Libertas

We'll start with a warm introduction hosted by Julia from The Dining Company. After that, you'll be invited to pair up with someone you haven't met yet. Using our signature conversation cards, you'll take turns asking each other fun, meaningful and thought-provoking questions about topics like personal growth, culture and life. No small-talk, real conversations.

Every 10 minutes you'll meet someone new, giving you the chance to have several genuine conversations. By the end of the hour, you'll already know most of the group, making it easy to continue the afternoon together as we explore Arnhem on our guided city walk.

🚶 Explore Arnhem like a local

After an hour of connecting, we'll head into the city with local and experienced guide Petra of ArnhemLife.

Discover Arnhem's fascinating history, hidden gems, favourite local spots and stories that bring the city to life. You'll see Arnhem through the eyes of someone who truly knows and loves it.

💛 Our mission

By the end of the afternoon you'll know more people and more about Arnhem.

Petra will guide the tour, while Julia creates the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes everyone feel comfortable and included.
