A workshop to guide couples through the changes & challenges a baby brings to your relationship, preparing you to be the best team possible.

13 June, 2021 10am-1pm PST / 19:00 - 22:00 CETThe greatest gift you can give your baby is a happy and strong relationship between the two of you. Becoming new parents is full of enough challenges and learning curves. Relationships can be stretched and tested with the stresses of new parenthood. This is a workshop for couples to take together. This is an important opportunity to learn together about life with a baby, life as a family of 3, and how to support each other. We will be guiding you in opening important conversations together.We will share:<ul><li>How to support your relationship during your first postpartum months.</li><li>Discussing equal parenting, gender roles, and the many crucial roles non-birthing partners have.</li><li>Discussion and tips for how to support the birthing-partner during transition and recovery.</li><li>Discussing shifts in identity, mental health, and self-care needs for both partners.</li><li>Normalizing how crazy you can feel without enough sleep and what to do about it. </li><li>Normalizing that there is so often a pause in sex and physical intimacy.</li><li>How to maintain emotional intimacy during sleepless months. </li><li>How to rekindle physical intimacy when both partners are ready. </li><li>Tips to make sex comfortable and safe again.</li><li>Worksheets to help you continue supporting each other.</li></ul>The registration fee covers both partners.
