Join us for an afternoon of culture, storytelling, and play at Bibliotheek Neude, where we celebrate the beauty of connection through the film Reclaiming Dragons and the timeless game of Mahjong.
We begin with a screening of Reclaiming Dragons (Nederlands Film Festival 2025 Debut Competition), a short film exploring Chinese-Dutch identity and the search for belonging across cultures. After the screening, producer Terry Tao, director Xiang Yu Yeung and Red Dragon Social Club founder Cecilia Liu join a short panel discussion about cultural roots, community, and how traditions like Mahjong bring people together.
Afterwards, you’re invited to stay and play Mahjong. Whether you’re completely new or already familiar, our hosts from Red Dragon Social Club will guide you through it.

We have limited amount of reserved seats, but there will also be a few open tables available to the public on a first come, first served basis. If you definitely want to play, make sure to reserve your spot early!
