Mobycon is proud to present a hands-on 3-DAY MASTERCLASS on traffic signal operations and signalized intersection design. Presented by a combination of Dutch experts with deep local knowledge and international experts skilled in adapting Dutch innovations in diverse global environments such as Canada, the United States, the UK, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, and beyond.
Our NEW IMMERSIVE TRAINING EXPERIENCE offers integrated mobility leaders and innovators the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the technical aspects of DUTCH INTERSECTION DESIGN & TRAFFIC SIGNAL OPERATIONS.
The masterclass will combine theory with hands-on field work to showcase how innovation in signalization and intersection design comes together to maximize safety for all road users. Special attention will be focused on ways that these principles can be applied in countries outside of the Netherlands.

Course Description
This masterclass blends interactive classroom sessions with hands-on fieldwork to show how innovative signalization and unsignalized intersection design work together to enhance safety for all road users.
Learn about the following topics, including how they are implemented in theNetherlands, applicable CROW guidance, and the opportunities and challenges related to implementing them abroad:

- Dutch network planning according to Sustainable Safety principles

- Vehicle and pedestrian detector technologies, strategies, and programming

The training will happen in Delft, the Netherlands which is where the head office of Mobycon is located.
This is an exclusive, technical training session. As such we are aiming to have approximately 15 participants. This will ensure the opportunity for participants to have lots of 1:1 time with the trainers.
We encourage participants to register for a post-training personal coaching session: an opportunity to ask more questions, communicate local challenges, & think along on solutions and next steps. A unique offer for registered participants only. For more questions contact MobyconAcademy@Mobycon.com.
To reserve your spot, the down payment is required. Once you’ve been accepted for this curated study tour, a second payment will be needed to confirm your participation.
In addition to the training, the price includes: 4 nights of accommodation in Delft, the Netherlands; 3 day course tuition; All training materials; 3 lunches & 1final dinner; A 'Quick Reference Guide to Intersection Design and Operations' including key guidelines from CROW.
No travel to the Netherlands is NOT included. Participants are 100% responsible for ensuring that they have arrived in the Netherlands on time (day 1 starts on August 26th at 9.30 AM CET) and that they have all the necessary visas, travel documents and travel insurance to cover their trip.

All participants who are fully paid and registered will receive a pre-training survey, a homework package, a detailed agenda and a list of what to bring.
Cancel up to 60 days before the event for a full refund, minus processing fees. If you cancel at least 30 days before the event, you may be eligible to transfer your spot as a credit to a future tour, if available. Cancellations made less than 30 days before are not eligible for a refund or credit.

This training will not have an on-bike experience. All fieldwork will be done on foot. We highly encourage participants to try public transport, the national NS Rail System, and of course, we’re happy to help you arrange a bike rental so you can experience the Netherlands in a multimodal way.
