<h1>How can understanding your brain help you be a better entrepreneur (and person)?</h1><p>Our brains are predictions machines that help us survive in the world, but they also play an important part when we want to start a new venture. In this masterclass you will learn basic concepts of how your brain, as a survival mechanism, can lead you to failure, but most importantly how can you hack this and become an expert in identifying your own biases. </p><p></p><h1>Meet the trainers</h1><p><strong>Philip Brandner </strong>is a neuroscience PhD candidate at Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam and previously at Leiden University. His PhD followed his master&#x27;s studies in Neuroscience and Cognition at Utrecht University. As a curious individual, he pursuit two bachelors degree one in History and the other one in Biology and Neurobiology, in Austria. Looking forward he envisions his future to encompass his thirst for cognitive and social neuroscience with his passion for education, empathy and learning. </p><p><strong>Betty Huerta</strong> is the entrepreneurship program coordinator at PLNT Leiden, where she coordinates the efforts that support aspiring entrepreneurs to develop their startup. Betty obtained her Masters of Science in Innovation Sciences at Eindhoven University of Technology, where she did research on the road social entrepreneurs working with artificial intelligence take in the context of developing countries. Before that, she worked for 4 years in the field of innovation and social entrepreneurship in Mexico at the Tec de Monterrey university.</p><p></p><p></p>
