All the world's a stage, and all the people merely players. They have their exits and their entrances, and all people in their time play many parts.

Merely Players is an unscripted play about life that blurs the lines between the performers and the performance. What if we could practice responding to situations differently? Get in-the-moment advice on how to be more assertive or flirtatious? What if we could use improvisation to practice being different versions of ourselves? After all, if life (as Shakespeare says) is a performance, why can't we rehearse it?

In a simulated rehearsal, experienced improvisers Jen, Spyros, Shane and Erica (plus non-performer Julia) share their real-life stories, questions, and vulnerabilities, then perform scenes exploring these while coaching each other. It's funny, dramatic, intense, confrontational, vulnerable, and above all, deeply honest - and completely unscripted, just like life.
