In het programma Met hand en hart laat Stichting Avrasya zien op welke manier creativiteit, zelfontwikkeling en samenkomst kunnen bijdragen aan de emancipatie van vrouwen in Den Haag. De hele dag zijn de vrouwen van de stichting te vinden bij het Open Paviljoen om hun werken en creativiteit tentoon te stellen. Van prachtige sieraden tot heerlijk platbrood: deze vrouwen laten zien hoe belangrijk het is om jezelf te kunnen zijn! Stichting Avrasya zet zich al meer dan 25 jaar in voor de emancipatie van vrouwen met een migratieachtergrond in Den Haag en hun integratie en thuisgevoel in de Nederlandse samenleving. Met een gratis financieel en maatschappelijk spreekuur en projecten tegen huiselijk geweld en eerwraak, ondersteunen ze vrouwen in hun zelfontwikkeling en positie in de maatschappij. Het Open Paviljoen is een plek voor ontmoeting, uitwisseling en verbeelding. Van 13 juni tot en met 19 juli 2026 bieden we ruimte aan een cultureel programma met workshops, gesprekken, performances en lezingen. Lokale initiatieven, nationale stemmen en internationale denkers ontmoeten elkaar in een open setting waarin kunst niet alleen wordt getoond, maar actief onze samenleving vormt. ENG In the programme With Hand and Heart, Stichting Avrasya demonstrates how creativity, personal development, and community gathering can contribute to the emancipation of women in The Hague. Throughout the day, the women of the foundation will be present at the Open Paviljoen, showcasing their work and creativity. From beautiful jewellery to delicious flatbread, these women show how important it is to be able to be yourself.For more than 25 years, Stichting Avrasya has been committed to the empowerment of women with migrant backgrounds in The Hague, supporting their integration and sense of belonging within Dutch society. Through free financial and social consultation services, as well as projects addressing domestic violence and honour-based violence, the foundation helps women strengthen their personal development and position in society. The Open Paviljoen is a place for encounter, exchange, and imagination. From 13 June to 19 July 2026, it will host a cultural programme featuring workshops, conversations, performances, and lectures. Local initiatives, national voices, and international thinkers come together in an open setting where art is not only presented, but actively shapes our society.
