The Haters’ Ball comes to Amsterdam for one night only after a triumphant, sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe. This is not your usual comedy show. The audience decides what gets roasted. You write down the topics you hate, and the city’s sharpest comics tear them apart live on stage. Nothing is scripted, nothing is safe, and nothing is off limits.

For more than a decade The Haters’ Ball has been one of the wildest late night comedy events in the UK, with thousands packing out shows at Edinburgh Fringe, Secret Garden Party and London’s Top Secret Comedy Club. Previous performers include Ari Shaffir, Michelle De Swarte, Ahir Shah, Kyle Legacy, Joey Dardano and many more.

Host Darius Davies (UK) is a fearless, high-energy stand up comedian and the creator of The Haters’ Ball (formerly Hate ’N’ Live), the hit audience-driven roast show that has packed out venues at the Edinburgh Fringe, Secret Garden Party and London’s Top Secret Comedy Club. A regular closer at premier comedy clubs including The Comedy Store, The Glee, Top Secret, Just The Tonic and The Backyard, Darius has also performed across Europe, Australia and the Middle East. With razor-sharp crowd work and explosive energy, he delivers comedy that is bold, unpredictable and always brutally funny.

Meet your host:

MC Kendra was born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, and started playing saxophone at age 8 inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian hi-way she studied Music at the University of Oregon finally leaving the US in 2004 in search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree). She bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam, never looked back and has been entertaining folks in Amsterdam ever since.
