Meet your host
MC Kendra Borgen (US/NL) was born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra started playing saxophone at age 8 inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian hi-way she studied Music at the University of Oregon finally leaving the US in 2004 in search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree). She bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam, never looked back and has been entertaining folks in Amsterdam ever since. Come listen to Kendra’s journey from the hilariously rugged outback of Alaska to the chaos of Amsterdam’s canals.

April 29th: Gong Show!
Guest MC: Emma Holmes (IR)

May 13th Headliner Aaron Simmonds (UK)

has been failing to stand up for 34 years, luckily he is far better at comedy than standing up. Aaron was a finalist at the BBC New Comedian of the Year and won Jewish comedian of the year 2017 (Both of which were fully wheelchair accessible)

His debut show at the 2019 Edinburgh Festival was nominated for Best Comedy Show by Broadway World UK and was a finalist for The Amused Moose Best Show.

As seen on QI (BBC), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky1) , The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Guessable (Comedy Central) and Rob Beckett's Undeniable (Comedy Central)

"What’s most notable about Simmonds is his skill as a raconteur, never losing the audience for a moment." - Chortle

"Easy to see why he's an award winner." - The Scotsman

"A comedian going places"**

He has a unique perspective on life, usually of people's belly buttons, which gives him stories to tell and a sore neck.

**Places that are wheelchair accessible

Matt Ruby (US) is a comedian from New York City. His smart and dark brand of standup is "button-pushing" and "funny" according to the NY Times. He also hosts the podcast Kind of a Lot with Matt Ruby. In his latest comedy doc/special, Substance, he performs 4 sets on 4 nights (1 high, 1 drunk, 1 sober, and 1 on shrooms!). Headliner George Rigdon (UK) Hailing from ‘across the pond’, George Rigden is one of the most exciting comedy prospects to emerge from the UK in recent years. With his unique brand of interactive musical comedy, described as ‘deliciously dark’ (beyond the joke) with ‘a fine, wretched persona’ (Chortle), He’s performed all over the world, including 5 consecutive Edinburgh fringe festivals & reaching the finals of many prestigious comedy competitions, including the legendary Leicester Mercury comedian of the year (2017.)

Outside of comedy, George is in demand as an actor and has also starred in multiple commercials for such major brands as Dos Equis, Xbox & Rice Krispie Squares.

He’s also exceptional at talking about himself in the third person.
