MU Year's Toast
We invite everyone who is curious about what MU has to offer in 2026 + a live performance by Libby Heaney.
Welcome to the MU Year's Toast, where we wish each other a meaningful 2026!
Why should we only do that in the first weeks of the year? As far as we are concerned, wishing each other well is always welcome. A new year also invites us to reflect on what we have learned from the past and to look forward to what lies ahead. At MU, we prefer to do this together with our audience and partners.
That is why, on Thursday evening, 19 February, we invite everyone who is curious about what MU has to offer in 2026 to join us in looking back and, above all, looking ahead.
We would like to introduce all the artists with whom we have explored and will continue to explore the elusive borderlands, diving deep into the undercurrents and discovering the frayed spaces in between that we love so much at MU; there, between the cracks where nothing ever stands still and everything is still possible.
The evening program also includes the controversial live performance Eat My Multiverse by English artist Libby Heaney. Trained as a quantum scientist, she chose art, becoming one of the first to experiment with quantum processes as an artistic medium. The current MU exhibition Explorations of Uncertainty, artists' visions on quantum also features her most recent work, Nibble my Multiverse, in which contemporary art, science, technology and embodied experiences come together.
