N(AI)ve Poetry Collaborations: A workshop on AI-generated poetry and text making

AIxD presents: AI Playground

AI Playground showcases creators from around the world that use AI tools to feed their creative practice. Led by @computationalmama, this projects explores the use of AI to create image-based; text-based; pose-based; and sound-based art.

In this workshop we will explore Digital Poetry is a fun hands-on workshop using basics of code and ML systems to create poetic texts. Participants will see examples of interactive poetry, do hands-on activities with GPT-3 and discuss ideas for building interactive experiences around generated texts. The workshop will be led by artist and creative coder <a href="https://andreasrefsgaard.dk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Andreas Refsgaard</a>.The workshop is open to curious individuals from all fields and disciplines and requires no specific technical skills.This event is part of AI Playground by AIxDesign. AI Playground is a series of events where we want to showcase the most interesting, forward-thinking and mind-blowing ways to use AI&amp;ML tools in creative practice. The goal of these sessions is to inspire and activate creatives in a playful and accessible way to take the first step into exploring and adopting AI methods into their toolkit. The AI Playground program is led by <a href="https://computationalmama.xyz/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Computational Mama</a> a.k.a. Ambika and funded by <a href="https://www.stimuleringsfonds.nl/en/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Stimuleringsfonds Creative Industrie</a>.The workshop will take 120 minutes and you will need to bring:- A computer with reasonable internet access- An open mind :) &lt;3(The workshop will happen on <a href="https://app.gather.town/app" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gathertown </a> and will be recorded for future reference and documentation.)About the ArtistAndreas Refsgaard is an artist and creative coder based in Copenhagen. Working in the field between art and interaction design he uses algorithms, coding and machine learning to explore the creative potentials of emerging digital technologies.His works have been published in New Scientist, Vice, Gizmodo, PSFK and Designboom, awarded by Interaction Awards and Core77 and exhibited in museums and at festivals in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
