Fourteen years into his two decade tenure with acclaimed technical death metal band NILE, guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade was itching to explore new musical and lyrical frontiers.

The band started writing old - school death metal inspired by some of his favorite bands, including Gorguts, Immolation, Incantation and Suffocation.

Narcotic Wasteland self-released their self-titled debut in 2014. Then in October 2016, Toler-Wade left Nile andNarcotic Wasteland became his main priority.

The band continues to tour regularly and rigorously, with current bookings confirmed for Europe and USA for 2025.

Support from Dublin Death metal titans Aborted Earth and local legends Microtonal.
