Networking Brunch

This is for the women who are ready to make networking work for them. Often we don't dare to ask for what we want or need, so during this brunch we make it mandatory. 😉

W hy this event is for you:

• This is your opportunity to share your ask - a help request - with a new and diverse audience. You may just find the person who can help you out, or who knows the perfect person to do that.
• Y ou will expand your network as you will actually meet all the attendees, instead of just a few.
• Y ou may be able to help another woman out with your own expertise or network. And we rise by lifting others!

T he concept of this event

We will start with food & drinks and connecting with other attendees while everyone gets in. It's important to not do this on an empty stomach. 😉 After half an hour we'll get everyone together and start with an introduction and continue with everyone's pitches.

In a 1,5 minute pitch you will introduce yourself (who are you, what do you do) and end with phrasing your ask. It should be a question that people can possibly help you with as this event really is about helping and connecting (not selling your service/product to possible clients amongst the attendees).

Everyone will receive a document with a list of all the attendees' names and space to take notes during the pitches. After the pitches it's time to connect and network. By now you know who you may be able to help and who's interesting to connect further with!

Preparation for this event

Make sure you have your pitch and your help request / question ready for this event. The pitches will be timed, so make sure you keep it at 1,5 min. In your pitch you can share:

• Who you are;
• What you do;
• Your ask (help request)

If you are struggling to formulate your question, here are some examples:

• "I'm looking for someone who can help me out with XX"
• "I'm looking for someone who can introduce me to XX person"
• A business question that you'd like to brainstorm about after the pitches.

Anything other than joining the lunch to get more clients is fine, this really is about helping and connecting, not selling.

T here is a maximum amount of participants for this event and it's quite popular. If you can't make it after all, please let us know via marketing@equals.amsterdam, this way we can open your spot for someone else!
