De RUG organiseert evenementen voor oud-studenten in steden over de hele wereld. Van Groningen tot Hong Kong tot San Francisco ontmoeten alumni elkaar in regio's waar veel Groningse alumni wonen. Zodat je:oude studievrienden kunt ontmoeten en je netwerk kunt verbreden met RUG alumni van verschillende studierichtingenop de hoogte blijft van de laatste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van onderzoek of onderwijs bij de RUGnaar verrassende, actuele of spraakmakende presentaties van RUG alumni of wetenschappers kunt luisteren.

<h3>Join us for Alumni Summer Drinks in Brussels | Thursday, 6 July 2023 | 18.00h</h3>We have the honour to invite you to join our Summer Drinks with University of Groningen Alumni and friends on Thursday, 6 July 2023 at 18:00 hrs (CEST) at the House of the Dutch Provinces: Trierstraat 59-61, 1040 Brussels.The main speaker of the gathering is <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/casper-de-boer-97bba1142/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Casper de Boer</a>, member in the Cabinet of EU Commissioner for Justice, Didier Reynders. He will share with us his recent Berlaymont experience. Him being responsible in the cabinet for amongst other things ‘protection of democracy’ and ‘Ukraine’, it promises to be a fascinating evening. Afterwards, Drinks &amp; Bites will accompany the alumni &amp; networking event.  Participation is free of charge. There is only a limited number of places available.
