About this event

This is for the women* who are ready to make networking work for them. Often we don't dare to ask for what we want, so during this breakfast we make it mandatory. 😉


In a 1,5 minute pitch you introduce yourself (who you are, what you do, what your goal is) and end with a question you want help with. For example, your question could be: "I'm looking for someone who can help me out with X" or "someone who can introduce me to X person". Or perhaps there's a business question that you'd like to brainstorm about after the pitches. Anything other than joining the lunch to get more clients is fine, this really is about helping and connecting, not selling.

A sking your question is practically putting your network to work, because only when you know what someone's looking for you can see how you can help. And everyone has their own network and knowledge, so together we know more.


The goal of this Networking Lunch is to create a space where women* can share their knowledge, connections and build future relationships. Because we rise by lifting others!


Preparation for this event

Make sure you have your pitch and your help request / question ready for this event. The pitches will be timed, so make sure you keep it at 1,5 min max.

Everyone will receive a piece of paper with the names of all attendees, with enough space next to it to make notes during the pitches. After the pitches there's time to connect about the questions asked and to share your insights.


Tickets

Members of Equals have free access to the lunch with their promocode (go to tickets and click on "promocode"). As a non-member you're also welcome to join the lunch and see if our community and clubhouse might be interesting for you to join.

  • 10th place in Europe when it comes to the representation of women leaders and women working in the European Tech Startup Ecosystem (report by Startup Genome).

Visibility : We’re creating more visibility for inspiring women, because role models are important for changed behaviour and beliefs.

Academy : We’re creating education and career opportunities for women in tech and entrepreneurship.

Memberclub : We’re creating a community of ambitious women that are here to connect, grow, support and empower each other.
