Neurofeedback in ADHD & Insomnia: Practical Workshop

Dit is een praktische hands-on trainingsdag voor gekwalificeerde zorgprofessionals die neurofeedback willen toepassen in hun eigen praktijk.

Gehost door Drs. Marleen Stam, Global Trainer, psycholoog, rTMS- en neurofeedbackspecialist bij de neuroCare Group Nederland, en Drs. Joris van Neijenhof, Global trainer, GZ-psycholoog, rTMS- en neurofeedbackspecialist bij neuroCare Group Nijmegen.

In deze praktische trainingsworkshop krijgen deelnemers ruim de tijd om neurofeedbacktechnologieën te testen en zelf te ervaren volgens evidence-based protocollen. Deelnemers werken in groepen om praktische ervaring op te doen met het plaatsen en bedienen van neurofeedbacksystemen en het instellen van de bijbehorende parameters.

Deze workshop kan meetellen voor accreditatie bij de Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). Zie de details hieronder.

Deelnemers maken kennis met de volgende neurofeedbacksystemen:

• THERAPRAX MOBILE van neuroConn Technologies (SCP-neurofeedbackprotocol)
• Nexus-10 met BioTrace-software (biofeedback, 4-kanaals neurofeedback)
• Brainquiry PET 4.0 System met BioExplorer-software (SMR- en Theta/Beta-protocollen)

De praktische opstelling van het Brainquiry PET-systeem kan in theorie ook worden toegepast op andere neurofeedbacksystemen die werken met frequentiebanden.

Leeronderdelen tijdens de trainingsdag:

Frequentieband-neurofeedback

• Voorbereiden van een protocol
• Instellen van een neurofeedbackfilter
• Elektroden voorbereiden
• Markeren van FZ & FCZ, C4
• Plaatsen van elektroden
• Alpha-check
• EOG-check

SCP-neurofeedback

• Markeren van CZ
• Voorbereiding en plaatsing van elektroden
• Instellen van een SCP-neurofeedbacksessie
• Kalibratie van oog-spier-bewegingsfilter vanuit EEG
• Starten van een sessie
• Meten en analyseren van een sessie

Let op:
Voordat deelnemers deze praktische workshop bijwonen, wordt verwacht dat zij de online zelfstudiecursus op het neuroCademy LMS hebben afgerond: “Neurofeedback in ADHD & Insomnia”. Dit is nodig voor een volledig begrip van de theorie en achtergrond van TMS-protocollen en principes.

BCIA (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance)

Deelnemers die alle theoretische onderdelen (online LMS-cursus) én deze praktische hands-on trainingsworkshop succesvol afronden, voldoen aan de 36 uur didactische vereisten voor BCIA-certificering. Neem contact op met de organisator voor meer informatie over het behalen van BCIA-certificering in Nederland of internationaal.

In this practical training workshop, participants will be given ample time to test and experience Neurofeedback technologies following evidence-based protocols. Participants will work in groups to gain practical experience in placement and control of Neurofeedback systems and settings.

This workshop can count towards BCIA accreditation. See Details below.

Participants will gain familiarity with the following Neurofeedback systems:

• THERAPRAX MOBILE by neuroConn Technologies (SCP Neurofeedback protocol)
• Nexus-10 with BioTrace software (Biofeedback, 4 channel Neurofeedback)
• Brainquiry PET 4.0 System with Bioexplorer Software (SMR, Theta/Beta protocols)The practical set up of the Brainquiry PET system could, in theory, be transferred to other Frequency-Band Neurofeedback systems.

Learning components covered in the training day include:

Frequency Band Neurofeedback: Preparing a protocol, Setting a Neurofeedback Filter, Electrode Preparation, Marking FZ & FCZ, C4, Electrode Placement, Alpha Check, EOG Check; SCP Neurofeedback: Marking CZ, Electrode preparation and Placement, Setting an SCP Neurofeedback session, eye-muscle-movement filter calibration from EEG, starting a session, measuring and analysing a session.

PLEASE NOTE: Before attending this practical workshop, participants are expected to have completed the online self-paced course on the neuroCademy LMS course: "Neurofeedback in ADHD & Insomnia", for a full understanding of theory and background of TMS protocols and principles. BCIA (Biofeedback Certification International Alliance)

Participants who successfully complete all theoretical components (online LMS course) and this practical hands-on training workshop will have fulfilled the 36 hour didactic requirements towards BCIA certification.
