In this practical workshop participants will learn how to conduct neurofeedback and experience it themselves. The training will focus on evidence-based protocols. The course: Neurofeedback in ADHD & Insomnia, combined with this Neurofeedback practical workshop is accredited by the BCIA (https://www.bcia.org/). Participants who complete the online part as well as the practical workshop receive this certificate.
Working in groups participants will learn about neurofeedback protocols: Theta/Beta, SMR (Sensory Motor Rhythm) and SCP (Slow Cortical Potentials) neurofeedback.
Participants will gain familiarity with at least 2 of the following neurofeedback systems:
The training day includes demonstrations and practice with:
- The ten-20 system, locating and marking neurofeedback training sites
- Affixing of electrodes
- Creating neurofeedback protocols/designs in software
- Filter settings
- Alpha/SMR check & EOG check
- Conducting a neurofeedback session
