New Adventures 2022 #2 presents: Robin Nimanong and Lucinda Wessels! Experience their research outcomes after four weeks of residency.

About this event

New makers, new ideas, new adventures.

On 14 and 15 October 2022, Robin Nimanong and Lucinda Wessels will share the outcome of their research residency at studio-theatre De Vlugt. New Adventures is a programme of ICK Artist Space for new dance makers who want to deepen their creative practice. In a period of four weeks, these makers get the chance to work on their artistic development in freedom and safety. To facilitate their research, ICK provides guidance from the Artist Space and Academy departments. The second New Adventures presentation of 2022 revolves around the themes of technology, queerness and identity: an exciting combination of two different makers who both approach these subjects in their own specific way. Both works are presented on the same evening in a double bill format, followed by a talk in which Robin and Lucinda enter into dialogue with the audience to discuss their experiences and ideas and to reflect on their artistic research.
