The nlmixr2 team will be running a half-day hands-on workshop on simulation (rxode2) and parameter estimation using the free and open-source R-based nonlinear mixed effect modelling platform nlmixr2 on Tuesday 25 June. The course will consist of a mixture of lectures and hands-on exercises. Contact info@occams.com for further information. The workshop fee covers the workshop room rental, organisational fees and taxes (eventbrite), and coffee/tea.
nlmixr2 and its satellite packages (including rxode2 and a range of tools facilitating seamless interaction with other industry-standard tools like NONMEM and Monolix) are undergoing continuous and intensive development, and are intended to provide a complete suite of packages for pharmacometric data analysis as free, open-source software. nlmixr2 is based in R and provides robust support for parameter estimation (primarily through the SAEM and FOCEi estimation methods) and simulation. For you to be able to participate in hands-on sessions, you will need to bring a laptop with the required software installed. You will receive instructions on how to install prior to the course, and will be required to run a test to prove your installation works correctly. Without a properly installed laptop you can still join the course but you will need to watch others during the hands-on session (no support for installation will be given during the course).
