Nowhere but the Night — Opening Event at Galerie Ron Mandos

Nowhere but the Night brings together an international group of artists — Amina Cruz, Devan Shimoyama, Erin Holly, Isaac Julien, J. Carino, James Bartolacci, Leasho Johnson, Miles Greenberg, Rainer Fetting, Vidar Logi, and Zoe Walsh — in dialogue with the life and work of Erwin Olaf (1959–2023). Curated by Gemma Rolls-Bentley, the exhibition explores freedom, desire, identity, and community through painting, photography, sculpture, and film, echoing Olaf’s enduring impact on queer visibility and contemporary art.
