University of Groningen Alumni ChaptersThe University of Groningen (UG) hosts events in cities across the world. From Jakarta to Berlin to San Francisco, alumni meet each other in regions where many Groningen alumni reside. The University has tight knit groups of alumni in some areas, that organize gatherings a few times per year. Some of them have established a local board with objectives. We call them ourinternational alumni chapters. We support international alumni chapters by offering UG representation at events. Traveling staff and board members love to interact with alumni and share UG developments. Moreover, professors and faculty members of the University provide interactive lectures and address some of the world’s most pressing challenges they are working on.Chapters are established in New York City, Washington DC, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Singapore, Zurich, Berlin, Jakarta, Brussels and there are more to come.

Meet your fellow Mexican alumni from around the world during our Kings Day online meetingLet&#x27;s connect and celebrate regardless of your location! Join us in the next online alumni King&#x27;s Day celebration on Saturday 23 April at 12:30 pm Mexico City / 7:30 pm Amsterdam.During this one hour gathering, the director of the Alumni Office of the University of Groningen, <a href="https://www.rug.nl/staff/remco.kouwenhoven/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Remco Kouwenhoven</a>, will join us as a special guest. There will also be breakout rooms to get to know your fellow alumni. Show off your orange outfit and prepare your drinks to toast together with Mr. Wilfred Mohr, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Mexico and Belize.Please, feel free to share this online alumni event with your fellow Mexican alumni from around the world!
