About this event
On 24, 25, 26 October 2025, the Jan van Eyck Academie welcomes the public to the Open Studios 2025.
The studios, halls, and gardens of the Jan van Eyck Academie will host a wide array of artistic practices of some 40 artists, designers – food, fashion, social, graphic –, writers, performers, and other makers. Visitors are more than welcome to explore the recently renovated Future Materials Lab, other communal spaces, as well as the art book store Limestone Books that will present a stand of the Jan van Eyck and other publications.

Friday, 24 October: 12:00 – 21:00 with a festive opening at 17:00

Yes! The event is free to attend, with optional donation that will go to the newly founded JvE Participant Grant.

Paid parking available at the Academieplein (short-term parking only). Other nearby parking spaces are Q-Park O. L. Vrouweparking or Q-Park Vrijthof.
Guests are welcome to visit the Café-Restaurant, where a selection of our homemade food and beverages will be available.

You are welcome to sign up for the days you would like to attend. However, each date must be registered separately.
The Open Studios 2025 programme will be announced closer to the event date.
English and Dutch are the main working languages at the academy, but works will also be presented in other languages.
