OSCAM x Afrovism: Painting with Presence & Game Night
On July 10, Afrovism takes over OSCAM for a joyful evening filled with creativity, play, and connection, celebrating the closing of the exhibition Een ode aan het mooiste stadsdeel.
We’ll start the night with Painting with Presence, a meditative workshop led by the inspiring Sabina Silver. Through brushstrokes and quiet reflection, we’ll paint the inner landscapes we carry with us, reconnect with our roots, and explore what “home” truly means. In a world shaped by movement and change, this session offers a moment to pause and express where we come from not just geographically, but emotionally and spiritually.
No painting experience needed,come as you are.
After the workshop, we’ll turn up the energy with a lively Game Night in collaboration with Zuidoost-based organization YeboGame. Get ready for classic games you love and some special surprises curated just for this event.

OSCAM x Afrovism: Painting with Presence & Game Night
Op 10 juli neemt Afrovism OSCAM over voor een feestelijke avond vol creativiteit, spel en verbinding. We vieren samen de afsluiting van de tentoonstelling Een ode aan het mooiste stadsdeel.
We starten de avond met Painting with Presence, een meditatieve workshop onder begeleiding van de inspirerende Sabina Silver. Met penseelstreken en rustige reflectie schilderen we de innerlijke landschappen die we in ons meedragen, maken we opnieuw verbinding met onze roots en onderzoeken we wat ‘thuis’ werkelijk voor ons betekent.
In een wereld die voortdurend in beweging is, biedt deze sessie een waardevol moment van rust en expressie – niet alleen geografisch, maar ook emotioneel en spiritueel.
Ervaring met schilderen is niet nodig. Kom zoals je bent.
Na de workshop gaat het tempo omhoog tijdens een gezellige Game Night, in samenwerking met de in Zuidoost gevestigde organisatie YeboGame. Bereid je voor op bekende klassiekers én een paar verrassende spellen die speciaal voor deze avond zijn samengesteld.
Verwacht een avond vol plezier, creativiteit en echte verbinding – helemaal in de spirit van Afrovism.
