We are delighted to announce the 5th series of PACKZ Insights Seminars. This event is packed with genuine insights in Packaging Innovations and great networking possibilities, which is why many brand owners and service providers keep coming back. During the event, PACKZ will update you on the latest Trends & Technologies in Packaging.
Our 2017 activities:
Our focus this year has been sustainability and new market concepts. We've done a lot of scouting at major exhibitions and conferences, where we've seen lots of innovative packaging formats, new technologies and new materials. We were also involved in the global Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association conference in Amsterdam in November 2016.

The topics for 2017:
ACTIONABLE PACKAGING DRIVERS: We will present a concise overview of shifts in society and offer you practical packaging related drivers for your innovation process.
SUSTAINABILITY: The search for sustainable packaging concepts.
INNOVATION AND PACKAGING CONCEPTS: New concepts scouted at several meetings, conferences and exhibitions, like the Tokyo Pack, DRUPA, FachPack and Sustainability Conferences in Chicago and Barcelona.
ACTIVE & INTELLIGENT PACKAGING: New developments as a result of our continuous scouting and the global 5th AIPIA congress in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This seminar will be interactive, with lots of networking opportunities. We again invite brand owners and service providers to take part in one of the seminar sessions (we will run the same programme at several dates, to make sure you will find a suitable date). We have a limited amount of seats available, so make sure you book early.

What are my transport/parking options for the event?
Hotel New York is situated on Wilhelmina Pier at the ‘Kop van Zuid’, close to Erasmus bridge and is easy to reach using the standard arterial roads.
The address is
Koninginnenhoofd 1 (alternatively: Wilhelminakade), 3072 AD, Rotterdam.
At the beginning of Wilhelmina Pier, opposite the new Luxor theatre, is the underground railway station Wilhelminaplein, which can be reached directly by underground railway from the city centre, the central train station or the Ahoy venue. There is also a tram stop (Wilhelminaplein) next to this underground railway station, which has tram 20, 23 and 25 coming in from the city centre and the central train station.
There are two easy ways to park near Hotel New York. Behind the building is a public parking lot, which is paid parking from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 11 p.m.. In order to pay you will need a credit card (rates and times subject to change).
It is also possible to park your car safely indoor, in the car park World Port Centre, next to Hotel New York. The entry ticket can be paid at Hotel New York’s reception desk or kiosk, at a 10% discount. If the car park is full, guests should report as guests of Hotel New York at the intercom. The car park generally reserves spaces for Hotel New York guests. It is not possible to reserve parking spots. Entry is possible until 23.30 p.m. and exiting is possible 24 hours a day. If you will arrive after 23.30 p.m., it is possible to use the car park in De Rotterdam.
The Rotterdam water taxi maintains a large fleet of taxis and an extensive network of stops. There is a ferry service connecting Hotel New York, Veerhaven and Leuvehaven. For more information regarding stops, rates and schedules, please see www.watertaxirotterdam.nl. or call +31 (0) 10 4030303.

Yes, tickets are transferrable to colleagues. Please send an email to email@example.com to update the name on the guest list.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, your name will be on the guest list.
What is the refund policy?
It is not possible to ask a refund, but it is always possible to transfer the ticket.
