Join us for the “Paper Pills” launch event in Utrecht, celebrating the release of our latest edition!
Welcome to the “Paper Pills: A Medical Humanities Issue” Launch Event!
Come join us for a night of celebration at Aleph Books in Utrecht where FRAME will present 38.2, our latest edition. Discover this newest issue (available for purchase) and learn more about our active Call for Papers!
℞˚₊‧ᯓ Doctor’s orders for the event include a keynote address (speaker to be announced) which will be followed by a poetry workshop—led by Mara Facon—during which partcipants will create exquisite corpse poems. Each line of poetry written by a contributor will respond to the line written by their predecessor. These collaborative poems will touch on the themes of diagnosis and hypochondria.
Also prescribed for the evening is convivial conversations with fellow guests over small bites and refreshments. We look forward to seeing you there!⚕️⋆˙✙

Exquisite Corpse Poetry Workshop
by Mara Facon. Inspired by surrealist games, participants will create collaborative poems of hypochondriac nature, each line of poetry responding to the diagnostic line before it. Materials will be provided.
