Overview

Combine risoprinting and perfect bind bookbinding techniques to create and take home your own custom journal

Perfect Bind: Bookbinding for RISO is a collaborative workshop launched by Onomatopee and Rossy Liu. The workshop runs from 10:00 to 16:00 and consists of two parts: a riso printing workshop to make the cover, and a bookbinding workshop to make the notebook. Perfecting binding is a widely used binding technic. The interior pages of the book are clamped and glued at the spine before wrapping it in a soft cover. Each participant will walk away with a perfect-bound notebook, with a mono colour riso-printed cover designed by themselves.

10:00 -11:00 cover design
11:00 -12:00 riso printing
13:00 -16:00 perfect binding
