What do I need to attend this workshop?

Mainly, a good internet connection will be your friend. It would probably be easier if you have access to a laptop or desktop computer, but all the platforms we use also scale to phones and tablets.

I want to attend, but the ticket fee is not in reach for me, what can I do?

Namla wants to help anthropologists, (social) scientists and activists from all over the world. If you are young, from the global majority, from a group facing hardships, etc., please do not hesitate to email us at hello@namla.info with some info about yourself. We can offer a few discounted seats.

What experience do I need?

The short answer is: not much! This workshop is designed for anyone with an anthropology or similar background. It helps to think beforehand about what a topic is you are passionate about. What effort in the world would you like to contribute to, what change would you like to see?

What is the Namla Club?

Accepted Answer

The Namla Club is a community of applied anthropologists on Discord. It launched on May 1st, 2026. It wants to become a community to network, to find work, to share what you know, to ask what you don't, and to stop carrying the weight alone. Workshops like this one are regularly hosted there too.
