“The Unsaid by the Unseen” is a curated poetry night by Creative Muslim Club, built around one central prompt: what lives inside us but rarely makes it into words. Across the evening, multiple poets and spoken-word artists take the stage. Each performer gets 15 minutes to shape the theme in their own way: through poetry, storytelling, rhythm, silence, or whatever form best carries their message. There’s no single “right” interpretation: some pieces might be intimate and personal, others political, spiritual, funny, or uncomfortable. The point is simple: give voice to what’s routinely left between the lines, and center perspectives that are too often missed Between sets, we’ll break the flow with short intermezzos: focused mini-moments that introduce a specific angle of the theme and screen a carefully chosen video that connects to poetry and voice. These interludes aren’t filler, they’re there to reset the room, open a new lens, and help the next performance land differently. Expect an evening with clear structure, strong voices, and a thread that ties it all together: the words we swallow, the stories we hide, and the parts of ourselves we’re still learning how to speak. This poetry night will be in Dutch.
