Pottery Painting Workshop

Join us for a creative and calming afternoon at When Nature Calls Center in Amsterdam, where you’ll paint your own ceremonial matcha or cacao bowl in a warm and inspiring setting. Hosted by Sofia James Pottery, this workshop invites you to slow down, connect, and make something truly personal.

What to expect

In this 2-hour experience, you’ll select your handmade bowl and bring it to life using soft, earthy tones inspired by the season. Whether you’re new to painting or have creative experience, this is a welcoming and inspiring space to explore, express, and enjoy the process.It’s not about perfection, it’s about presence, play, and making something meaningful with your hands.

• One hand-thrown matcha or cacao bowl

• All painting materials• Glazing and professional kiln-firing

• A warming drink & nourishing treatYour piece will be glazed and fired after the session, and ready for pickup at When Nature Calls in 3–4 weeks. (Please note: shipping is not available.)
