Present by Nature sets out to experience and comprehend the natural ecosystems surrounding us, parting from the human-like ideas and attitudes and learning adaptation and inadaptation from the geography around us. Thanks to live action role play, we shift the focus from questions of where things are to how they hang together, allowing the exploration, collection and archiving while existing on the micro-scale. The game, designed by Roberta Di Cosmo and Matilde Patuelli in collaboration with Waterschool by Makkink&amp;Bey takes form starting from the notion of the third landscape, accompanying the research on invasive species around the M4H area in Rotterdam. Deciding to follow the narrating voice of nature in those lands where it reclaims its presence, you will be invited to shrink to a microscopic being and welcomed to experience reality shifting from the human eye with which you are used to look at it.
