About this event

The third Tuesday in September, Prinsjesdag, will again be a day with a large audience and guests. After two editions with corona restrictions, it will be possible to continue almost all traditions on September 20, 2022. Due to the renovation of the Binnenhof, this will take place in the Koninklijke Schouwburg.

At 1 PM the King and the Royal Company depart in the Glass Carriage from Noordeinde Palace to the Koninklijke Schouwburg. WE WILL SEE THE CARRIAGE ON THE WAY.

Just for your information: Prinsjesdag is a "Budget Day", when the cabinet will present the Budget Memorandum and the national budget for the coming year. King Willem-Alexander delivers the Speech from the Throne. The Minister of Finance then presents the Budget Memorandum and the national budget to the House of Representatives. Immediately after Budget Day, the General Political Reflections (APB) will follow, in which the political groups will debate the plans with the ministers.

Afterward, you can enjoy THE HAGUE city and maybe try the Dutch way of eating haring fish!!
