<h3>What is Lino Printing?</h3><p>Lino printing is a printmaking technique where a design is carved into a soft linoleum block. The uncarved areas are inked, and the block is pressed onto paper or fabric to create your design.</p><h3>Who is it for?</h3><p>This workshop is for adults. Participants will be guided through the art of lino printing, designing and printing their own one-of-a-kind handmade bag. </p><h3>Workshop Structure</h3><p><strong><strong>Introduction:</strong></strong> We’ll start by finding a design you’d like to print on your bag. Then we’ll show you how to use carbon paper to transfer your design onto the linoleum block.</p><p><strong><strong>Carving:</strong></strong> Learn the carving technique and carve out your design with guidance from our instructor.</p><p><strong><strong>Printing:</strong></strong> Once your design is carved, we’ll make a first print on paper, experimenting with colors and layouts until the final outcome is ready. The workshop concludes with printing your design onto your bag.</p><h3>What’s Included</h3><p>All materials are provided, along with drinks and snacks. By the end of the workshop, participants will take home:</p><ul><li>Their handmade bag</li><li>A few paper prints</li><li>A lino block to continue creating their own designs at home</li></ul><h3>Tip</h3><p>Think of a design you’d like on your bag. Start with something simple — large surfaces and few details — as carving into linoleum can be tricky at first.
