Join us for a creative and cultural Pysanka Easter workshop on 21 March, from 11:30 to 13:00, in Delft city center.

Pysanka is a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg decorated using a wax-resist technique. This ancient art form dates back centuries and is rich in symbolism, with patterns and colors believed to bring protection, prosperity, and good fortune. Pysanky are traditionally made by applying hot wax to an egg in stages, then dyeing it in layers to create intricate designs.What to expect:<ul><li>Learn how to create your own pysanka step by step</li><li>Discover the history, meaning, and fascinating facts behind this Ukrainian tradition</li><li>All materials will be provided</li><li>Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained, as we will work with paint and wax </li></ul>Practical information: 📅 Date: Saturday, March 21st🕑 Time: 11:30–13:00📍Location: Lutherse kerk, Noordeinde 4, 2611 KH Delft🎟️Price: Donation-based — all proceeds support Ukraine via https://vw-nl.org/donate Who can join: Everyone is welcome. Deze eeuwenoude kunstvorm bestaat al honderden jaren en is rijk aan symboliek: men gelooft dat de patronen en kleuren bescherming, voorspoed en geluk brengen.
