(Click on "Check availability" to see that in your own timezone)
Our Queer Sharing Circle is a chance to come together with other queers in a heart-centered, caring, supportive community at this time of year that can be so stressful and challenging for so many. This is truly a chance to slow down, connect to your heart, be with community, and share what is alive in your world. We will be guided by authentic relating principles, meaning you are encouraged to come as you are, practice unmasking, and let yourself express what's in your heart. Previous experience with authentic relating is not necessary.
Am I "queer enough" to join?
Yes! If you feel that the word "queer" is relevant in any non-trivial way to describing your self~life~world experience ~ there is no right way ~ your unique way is valid and enough.
🕯️ Schedule
We will open the circle by starting with a warm welcome and introduction to the principles of authentic relating (as adapted by AR-GO)
Then we will have a brief grounding and connecting to self exercise.
Next we will take turns having time to share what is in our hearts. You might want to just verbally process, tell a story, be in silence, talk through an issue, introduce us to your pet or treasure, or share whatever else is alive for you. All the feelings are welcome. You will have the chance to practice asking for the kind of feedback and presence you would like, whether that is just being listened to without advice, or receiving questions or appreciations, or something else.
After everyone has shared we will have a brief closing exercise.
🕯️ Practical notes
When: every Saturday in December 2025 at 19:00 CET
Where: on Zoom (link is provided upon registration)
How long: 90 min
How to prepare: We recommend creating a space for yourself where you can be as comfortable as possible, and not disturbed for 90 minutes together. Turn off notifications, light a candle, grab lots of blankets and pillows, make some tea. Whatever will support you to feel comfortable and safe.
Donations: Community care sessions are offered on a donation basis to support accessibility and lean into a practice of gift economy. If you feel able to donate, to help us stay sufficiently resourced so we can offer more events like these, this would be deeply appreciated but not necessary. A optional donation amount is €10-20.
