QUEER SW MATINEE @ THE CASA ROSSO

HXSSY is a Red Light-based, queer-sw/er organization that re-imagines sw experiences through immersive artistic & cultural performances and exhibitions. HXSSY positions itself as the necessary and (currently) missing link that brings together, at multiple levels, communities and conversations that are vital to shifting perceptions and positions of sw/ers in the Red Light District, in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, and hopefully beyond. In a sustained moment of political tension around sw in one of the world’s oldest Red Light Districts, HXSSY seeks ways to elevate the creative magic of sw through art, cultural production, and the re/claimation of historical sw-ing space.
