Rachel Morton-Young: Dutch Courage
Overview
Mad Cow Comedy presents Solos at the Shed; a series of great solo shows in the most intimate of venues! On Friday 7th November, join us for "Dutch Courage" by Rachel Morton-Young, plus support acts!
About the Show
Fresh from a 4-star, rave-reviewed run at the Edinburgh Fringe, award-winning comedian Rachel Morton-Young brings her hit solo show Dutch Courage to Utrecht!
In this hilarious and heartfelt hour, Rachel explores the vast cultural chasm between her British roots and her adopted Dutch home. With a razor-sharp wit and a warm, engaging style, she dives into the quirks, clashes, and downright absurdities of expat life in the world’s most liberal country.
Expect laugh-out-loud stories about tea rituals, sex education, Sinterklaas, and sauna etiquette — as Rachel hilariously unpacks what happens when British politeness meets Dutch directness. Whether you’re a local, an expat, or just love a good cultural mix-up, this show will leave you smiling and nodding in recognition.
