On 30-31 March 2023, the RCDF Foundation is holding its Annual General Meeting  2022 to bring the community together, reflect and project.

RCDF Annual General Meetings

The Research Collective for Decoloniality & Fashion (RCDF), created in 2012, is a not-for-profit that operates from the margins to critique the denial and erasure of a true diversity of fashioning systems.

Anyone and everyone who is concerned with fashion, decoloniality, and a fair, ethical and culturally, economically and ecologically sustainable world, is welcome. We will reflect on our collective journey over the last ten years as we commemorate our first event in October 2012.PROGRAMMEThursday 30 March, 8-10PM CEST8h00 – 8h30	Opening and updates by the chairs of the Supervisory Board, Jose Teunissen, Advisory Board, Rolando Vazquez, and Executive Board, Angela Jansen8h30 – 9h00	Reflections and suggestions by members and coalitional partners9h00 – 10h00	Roundtable on RCDF’s 10th Anniversary with Sandra Niessen, Sarah Cheang, Toby Slade, Erica de Greef, and Leslie Rabine. Moderated by Angela Jansen.Friday 31 March, 8-10PM CEST8h00 – 9h00	Presentation of the 2nd RCDF Zine by Mi Medrado and celebratory open-mic with the contributors. The Netherlands. 12:35&#x27;•	Leaking Blue, Brazil. 15:25&#x27;.D﻿ONATEThe Annual General Meeting is also a key moment for the community to renew its financial support through yearly donations to help safeguard the Collective’s independence as it operates from the borders, pushes back against dominant fashion discourses and enforces systemic changes. People are encouraged to make a recurring monthly donation of 10, 20 or 25 euro to raise 10.000 euros needed to cover the running costs for one year.
