Join me for Rebranding Menopause, a transformative lecture dedicated to uncovering the truth about menopause. Just as women have reclaimed their birthing experiences, moving beyond the clinical approaches of the past, it’s time to empower ourselves with a deep understanding of the physiological, mental, and spiritual aspects of peri-, meno-, and post-menopause.This interactive, experiential lecture will explore cultural perceptions, ancestral beliefs, and mindsets surrounding menopause. We’ll also explore essential facts about our bodies through the lenses of Western, Eastern, and Indigenous wisdom. "Menopause deserves a rebranding because where there is fear, there is truth. Guided meditation and reflective questions will help deepen the experience, inviting you to connect to this journey more intuitively. With over 20 years of experience, Oda has dedicated her career to supporting women through transformative life stages, including birth and menopause. As a doula, she has been a compassionate presence during births, and she offers healing modalities such as Watsu, Shiatsu, and Chi Nei Tsang to nurture physical and emotional well-being. Oda’s work extends beyond individual sessions—she also leads group courses and women’s circles, creating a safe and empowering space for women to navigate life’s major transitions. Upon celebrating her 50th birthday, she began teaching at the Zen Shiatsu School, where she specializes in the "extra wonder meridians," a system of channels that plays a crucial role in supporting the menopausal transition. Her wealth of experience and deep knowledge make her a guiding force in holistic health and women’s wellness.
