Reason for this event is the exhibition Reply:Forward , focused around the theme of hope. Three curators were asked to create an exhibition with art made by young makers to see how they view hope. In conversation with 21 artists under the age of 35, they’ve come to see that hope is not linear, there is no beginning or end but hope can be seen as a constant. This exhibition takes you from the present to the past and gives you ways to look at the future. Hope is a practice that can be done individually or in community.
Moderated by Reading in Black ( Sharily Ortela) – expect an engaging, thought-provoking discussion with insightful questions!
