What actually happens during the evening?

Accepted Answer

It's experiential, so you'll be doing, not sitting and listening. A playful part with movement and free dancing, a slower part guided into the body and emotions, and a shared table with food to share at the closing time.

Question 2

Do I need any experience with dance, movement, or somatic work?

Accepted Answer

None at all. There are no steps to get right and no level to reach. Everything is at your own pace.

Question 3

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable clothes to move around freely.  A bottle of water if you want (there's water available on site). Mats and all materials are provided.

Question 4

Is there any touching or partner work?

Accepted Answer

The body work is self-directed, you're guided to work with your own body, never touched by others. Anything relational is always an invitation, never required.

Question 5

Is there free parking nearby?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the building has a garage where you can park for free. Instructions will be sent in the confirmation email.

Question 6

Is food included? What about allergies or dietary needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a shared meal is part of the evening: light dishes/finger food to share. Please tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book or email info@onward-somaticcoaching.com, so everyone can eat freely.
