Registration XXIVth Board Game Studies Colloquium, 16-20 May 2022

The XXIVth Board Game Studies Colloquium (BGSC) is a four day long conference which will take place both on site, and online. The theme for this edition is ‘Ludus in Academia’.

The conference will open on Monday 16 May 2022, at 4 p.m. local time, and will end on Friday 20 May 2022 at around 1 p.m. (also local time). For more information, see our preliminary programme below.

The congress will take place at Tresoar, the Frisian Historical and Literary Centre situated in Leeuwarden/Ljouwert, the Netherlands. We are looking forward to welcoming you in person, as we usually would have before the Covid-19 pandemic.

The fee is €199,50 for full access to the colloquium, including warm beverages, a colloquium dinner on Wednesday 17 May 2022, and an excursion to the former university city of Franeker/Frjentsjer on Thursday 18 May 2022.

If you choose to participate online, the fee is €50,-. You need to be registered to receive the necessary information on how to connect to the online broadcasting platform. To access the event, a link and further details will be sent to you a few days before the conference.

We will be assisted by a professional team, which will help speakers with their online presentations, no matter the media platform they have chosen. It is possible to broadcast a prerecorded video, or to participate online.

Registration will close on 1 May 2022.
