A rat race is a relentless and self-defeating pursuit. Could it be that we all live in a rat race? What exactly is this rat race?

<p>The majority of our global society is stuck in a rat race: a relentless and self-defeating pursuit for more money, power and productivity. As the world is confronted with more grand challenges and planetary boundaries are transgressed, it is time to rethink this system. One of these challenges with regard to the rat race is the mental health crisis in the form of rising anxiety and depression in our generation.  In this Teach-In we will zoom out together and reconsider a never-ending cycle of working and earning by placing the rat race in a broader context. Join us on an exciting and challenging treasure hunt that puts us right in the middle of the rat race and exposes the effects on our mental wellbeing.</p><p>By Alessandro, Linus, Tim, Arinda</p>
