<p>This event seeks to shed light on critical historical events that have shaped the global political landscape and continue to resonate today. We will examine three main topics: President Allende&#x27;s UN speech on the dangers of corporate power, the political experiment of the United Front in Chile, and the international solidarity movement that provided support to Chilean exiles. By revisiting these developments from 50 years ago and comparing them to current realities in Chile and elsewhere, we aim to derive valuable insights and foster discussions on crafting progressive political strategies for the future. Stay tuned!</p><p>This event is co-organized by SOMO, TNI and Framer Framed.</p>
